Governance

The Galway Music Centre was first established in 2007. In 2009, it acquired Noteworthy Productions Ltd, a company limited by guarantee, and registered Galway Music Centre as its trading name in January 2014.

Board of Directors: The Galway Music Centre is governed by the following Board of Directors, which is representative of the diverse music organisations and interest groups in Galway:

John Caulfield, Michael Cuddy, Anna Cunningham, Mary Dooley (Chair), Mark Duley, Carmel Garrett, Thomas Grealy, James Harrold, Hugh Kelly, Bernard Kirk, Anne O'Maille, Peter Rabbitt.

Financial Statements: Our annual financial statements are audited by CAG, the Galway-based firm of Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditors. 

Facilities Advisory Group: Chaired by Anna Lardi Fogarty, the Galway Music Centre Facilities Advisory Group aims to:

  • develop plans for facilities for rehearsal and performance of acoustic music in Galway
  • integrate these plans for similar facilities for dance
  • further the related joint venture with the Galway Dance Project
  • interact with Galway City Council to actively advocate for such facilities
